Jaipur: A day after Gujjar leader Vijay Bainsla announced to oppose Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra unless Sachin Pilot was made the chief minister, the Pilot camp has now sensed a conspiracy in the leader's statement.
Minister Rajendra Gudha and MLA Indraj Gurjar alleged that Bainsla was playing in the hands of the BJP and the anti-Pilot group in the Congress. The leaders of the Pilot camp termed Bainsla's statement as a conspiracy to defame Pilot and the Gurjar community.
“Those people in the Congress who were served notice for indiscipline are behind his conspiracy,” alleged Gudha.
Comparing Pilot to Abhimanyu in Mahabharat, Gudha claimed that “his opponents are hatching new conspiracies, but the party high command is keeping an eye on the whole matter. Bainsla should also come forward and tell who are the people behind this conspiracy.”
“If Bainsla wanted to oppose, oppose the government. He should not try to defame Sachin Pilot and the Gurjar community,” said Gudha while addressing a press conference.
“Bainsla tried to defame Pilot even during the immersion ceremony of Colonel Kirori Bainsla’s ashes recently in Pushkar where some ministers of the Gehlot camp were shown slippers by his supporters and the blame was on Pilot,” said Indraj Gurjar. He said Bainsla conspired in Pushkar to defame Pilot.
He said, “Bainsla has been demanding to make Pilot the chief minister for two days. He is associated with the BJP. He should talk about BJP. The decision of Pilot will be taken by the party high command,” said Gurjar.
“If the BJP wanted to oppose the Bharat Jodo Yatra, do it openly instead of using a proxy,” challenged Gurjar, claiming that the yatra would be a historic success in the state. Gurjar said there is no tradition in the Gurjar community to oppose any guest.
Gurjar said Colonel Kirori Singh Bainsla has a lot of respect in society but Vijay Bainsla is a so-called leader and is a victim of someone’s political conspiracy. He said that if there are any discrepancies in Gujjar reservation, then Bainsla should negotiate with the government along with the MLAs of the community, he alleged.
