Arya joins ‘Pilot for CM’ chorus
Jaipur: After forest and environment minister Hemaram Chaudhary, Suchitra Arya, vice-president of the State Agriculture Industry Board, has now joined the chorus of Sachin Pilot for chief minister. She demanded Pilot be made the chief minister without delay or else the party will be ruined.”
She was interacting with the media at Pant Krishi Bhavan here on Monday.
“The confusing situation in the state should be removed at the earliest. If nothing is done now, the situation may turn worse. There is nothing left to say after Chaudhary’s statement. Pilot is a big face in the Congress. Wherever Pilot goes today, lakhs of people gather to listen to him,” said Suchitra.
She said the situation in Punjab was different from Rajasthan. If Pilot is made the CM, the party will retain power. Arya has demanded action against the three leaders who instigated MLAs to boycott the legislature party meeting on September 25. In a tweet, Arya raised questions about inaction against those who boycotted the meeting.
Arya is the daughter-in-law of veteran Congress leader and former minister late Kumba Ram Arya. She had contested elections on Congress ticket earlier.
