As per claims, Prince Andrew seems to be targeting an unofficial intermediary role between oil-rich Gulf states and the West in the midst of the energy crisis by secretly visiting Bahrain.

Last week, the 62-year-old Duke of York flew to Bahrain on a jet of a billionaire Swiss contact. All the expenses of his five-star stay were paid by his long-standing friends in the Royal Family of the kingdom, claimed media reports.

As per recent reports, he has been contemplating taking up a trade role to make his return to public life. And because he’s no longer a working royal, the reason for his voyage wasn’t recorded in the Court Circular.

As per sources, he’s fancying another stretch as a special representative for international trade and investment for the government. The sources also claim that he believes he could try to increase oil production by persuading Saudi Arabia.

However, some reports said he’s a guest of honour who is on a “privately-funded” holiday in Bahrain. As per other claims, he considers the Middle East as a place to settle due to his tattered reputation in the UK.

Prince Philip: 1921-2021

Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh and husband of Queen Elizabeth II, passed away peacefully at Windsor Castle. He was 99.

His life spanned nearly a century of European history, starting with his birth as a member of the Greek royal family and ending as Britain's longest serving consort during a turbulent reign in which the thousand-year-old monarchy was forced to reinvent itself for the 21st century.

Since the summer of 2019, when he was flown on a golfing trip in southern Spain, this trip to Bahrain is his first trip outside Britain. A week after the death of his paedophile financier friend Jeffrey Epstein in prison, he went to Spain.

It was through Epstein that Andrew met Virginia Giuffre, the sex trafficking victim. And he quit his trade role because of his links to Epstein.
