Strictly Come Dancing returned to Blackpool this year for the first time since 2019. Fleur East earned the first perfect 40 of the season on Saturday.

The 20th series of the multi-award-winning Strictly Come Dancing on BBC One and BBC iPlayer is back once again bringing glitter, glamour, and glorious dancing to homes across the nation.

All About Fleur East's Performance:

Directing her inner Destiny's Child for the dance with Vito Coppola, the couple performed to a megamix of songs by the 1990s US girl group. Fleur received 10s from all four judges for this performance.
Fleur performed an upbeat performance with smooth motions reminiscent of the band's former members while dressed in a silver, sequined attire.
Fleur referred to it as a "full-circle" experience because she grew up listening to Destiny's Child.

After beginning the Blackpool special in chic fashion with a refined American Smooth to Frank Sinatra's New York, New York, Hamza Yassin, and Jowita Przystal scored a 38 and secured the third position.

Carlos Gu and Molly Rainford performed a lively, cheerful jive to Barry Manilow's Bandstand Boogie to earn a score of 35.
Tyler West earned a 35 for his salsa dancing to Megamix by KC and the Sunshine Band.

Ellie Taylor was at the opposite end of the spectrum with a score of 31 for her American Smooth to Cilla Black's "You're My World."
