Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Ltd.(number of shares traded: 10.67 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 4.57 crore), PayTM(number of shares traded: 4.40 crore), HUDCO(number of shares traded: 3.18 crore), PNB(number of shares traded: 2.71 crore), Rail Vikas Nigam(number of shares traded: 2.43 crore), Ltd.(number of shares traded: 2.37 crore), Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 2.11 crore), NBCC (number of shares traded: 2.02 crore) and Suzlon Energy(number of shares traded: 2.01 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:19AM in Thursday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 23.35 points down at 18386.3, while BSE Sensex was down 41.8 points at 61938.92 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(up 2.13 per cent), Ltd.(up 0.88 per cent), .(up 0.86 per cent), .(up 0.73 per cent) and .(up 0.65 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While .(down 2.00 per cent), .(down 1.90 per cent), .(down 1.81 per cent), .(down 1.50 per cent) and .(down 1.24 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
