Jaipur: Exporters participating in trade fairs, exhibitions and buyer-seller meets, both in the country and overseas, will get up to Rs 2 lakh support for participating in the events.
According to an order by the industries department, the scheme will continue till March 2025 and all benefits will be routed through Rajasthan Exports Promotion Council (REPC). Those who are not members of REPC, have to be part of the ‘Be An Exporter’ initiative of the state government to avail the benefits. REPC chairman Rajiv Arora said, “The incentives will help artisans and entrepreneurs participate in exhibitions and trade fairs and they can explore new marketing opportunities to increase their exports. Because of the high cost of participating in the fairs, many are missing out business networking and marketing opportunities.”
Besides, business delegations to other countries to explore new trade opportunities have also been extended benefits. One delegation can avail financial assistance of up to Rs 10 lakh, said Arora.
As per the scheme, any exporter can participate twice and take maximum benefits of up to Rs 1 lakh for renting a pavilion and other expenses.
