Gang burgles temples, houses

Mandya: Burglars struck Agraharbachahalli village in KR Pet taluk, breaking into two temples and three houses in the early hours of Tuesday. They broke into Sri Channakesava temple, which is attached to muzrai department, and Sree Lakshmi Devi temple and stole money and ornaments, cops said. They also broke into two houses and looted gold and cash. Later, when they tried to break into a third house, the inmates raised an alarm. However, they managed to escape. tnn
