Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 0.49% in a weak market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded negative around 10:09AM(IST)on Wednesday in a weak market.

Prestige Estates Projects(up 1.87 per cent), Macrotech Developers(up 1.04 per cent) and Godrej Properties(up 0.41 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Phoenix Mills(down 2.68 per cent), Oberoi Realty(down 1.17 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(down 0.58 per cent), DLF(down 0.55 per cent) and Indiabulls Real Estate(down 0.48 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

The Nifty Realty index was down 0.49 per cent at 450.6 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 17.65 points at 18385.75, while the BSE Sensex was down 27.05 points at 61845.94.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 19 were trading in the green, while 30 were in the red.

Shares of , , HUDCO, Global Health Ltd. and FSN E-Comm(Nykaa)were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Global Health Ltd., HUDCO, , Bikaji Foods International Ltd. and hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while ., , , TIL Ltd and hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
