5 new Covid cases reported in Gurugram; positivity rate at 0.2%

GURUGRAM: The city reported five new Covid cases on Tuesday while the positivity rate has been recorded at 0.2%. Gurugram currently has 40 active cases out of which one patient is hospitalised. The health department collected 2,177 samples on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Haryana logged 11 new Covid cases on Tuesday. At present, there are 82 active cases and the positivity rate is at 1%. On Tuesday, 19 patients recovered from the infection and the health authorities collected 5,784 samples for antigen and RT-PCR tests. Till now, 10,56,614 people have tested positive in Haryana since the beginning of the pandemic. A total of 567 people got vaccinated in Haryana on Friday, out of which 62 got their first doses, 183 got the second doses and 317 got precautionary doses. In Haryana, 100% of the eligible population (18 and above) have got their first doses while 88% have received their second doses so far. tnn
