Kotak Mahindra Bank(up 2.2%), Dr Reddys Laboratories(up 1.48%), Eicher Motors(up 1.45%), Tata Consultancy(up 0.9%), Wipro(up 0.79%), Infosys(up 0.75%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(up 0.68%), Maruti Suzuki(up 0.58%), Tech Mahindra(up 0.58%) and Bajaj Auto(up 0.58%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Hindalco Industries(down 1.86%), JSW Steel(down 1.49%), Divis Laboratories(down 1.48%), Enterprises(down 1.34%), Tata Steel(down 1.15%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(down 1.1%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(down 0.84%), Hindustan Unilever(down 0.79%), Bajaj Finance(down 0.79%) and SBI Life(down 0.75%) were trading in the red.
