Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market falls

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading higher on Wednesday at 09:59AM

Bohra Industries(up 4.99%), Fertilizers (up 3.05%), ZUARIAGRO(up 2.79%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(up 1.83%), KRISHANA(up 1.63%), & Petrochemicals(up 1.45%), Madras Fertlizers(up 1.20%), National Fertilizer(up 0.61%), G S F C(up 0.49%) and Coromandel International(up 0.49%) were among the top gainers.

& Chemicals(down 1.47%), Sikko Industries(down 1.46%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(down 0.96%) and & Fertilizers(down 0.78%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 24.55 points down at 18378.85, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 76.07 points at 61796.92 at around 09:59AM.

Dr Reddys Laboratories(up 1.72%), Cipla(up 1.19%), Eicher Motors(up 1.15%), Adani Enterprises(up 0.89%), Tata Consultancy(up 0.79%), Wipro(up 0.74%), Maruti Suzuki(up 0.66%), Tech Mahindra(up 0.66%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(up 0.64%) and HCL Technologies(up 0.53%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Divis Laboratories(down 1.66%), Tata Steel(down 1.43%), HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(down 1.3%), Bajaj Finance(down 1.14%), Enterprises(down 1.13%), Bajaj Finserv(down 1.09%), JSW Steel(down 1.06%), Hindalco Industries(down 1.02%), SBI Life(down 0.83%) and Asian Paints(down 0.81%) were trading in the red.
