Parassala police to verify evidence
Thiruvananthapuram: The Parassala police have started the process of verifying the evidence produced by a KSRTC conductor who alleged that his ex-wife tried to kill him in 2018 by mixing poison in food as directed by her lover.
The KSRTC driver, Sudheer (48) of Ayanimoodu near Neduvanvila, has found a bottle of aluminum phosphate while cleaning his house recently.
“The bottle was wrapped in the cover of a courier parcel and it was sent from Tamil Nadu. The lover of my ex-wife is also from Tamil Nadu and she is with him now. The courier was sent in 2018 and I was hospitalized during that period after consuming food from home. I was in the hospital ICU for several days fighting for life. I have submitted all the details to the police,” said Sudheer.
Sudheer decided to file a complaint after the news of Sharon Raj murder case come up.
Sharon was murdered by his lover by allegedly mixing poison in an ayurveda medicine and juice.
The Parassala police were reluctant to register a case on his complaint initially.
However, criticism of police lapses in Sharon murder case compelled them to register a case .
“We are in the process of verifying the evidence produced by Sudheer. The hospital records have to be verified and the authenticity of materials produced have to be examined. Once the evidence produced is found to be genuine, we will question the woman,” said Parassala station house officer Hemanth Kumar.
