Water supply to be disrupted in parts of Trichy on Thursday

TRICHY: A pipe burst was reported in the main supply line of surface-level drinking water sump at Sangliyandapuram in Trichy on Tuesday.
To restore the distribution, Trichy corporation will launch repair work in the main supply line at Pitchai Nagar on Wednesday (November 16).
The distribution network filling 10 overhead drinking water tanks will be scrutinised for a day.
The local body informed that the drinking water supply will be suspended on November 17 (Thursday) for localities depending on tanks in Devathanam, Kallukuzhi, Viraguppettai, Jaganathapuram, Ariyamangalam, Ukkadai, Sangliyandapuram and Mahalakshmi Nagar supplied by the surface-level tank.
From November 18, the routine drinking water supply will resume, Trichy corporation said.
