Bollywood star couple Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover welcomed their daughter on Saturday.

The duo to social media to announce the arrival of their newborn, in a joint statement.

The couple chose a special name for their little one - Devi Basu Singh Grover. They also said their baby girl was 'divine'. "The physical manifestation of our love and blessings of Ma is here now and she is divine," the statement read.

The post received more than 421K likes in less than two days.

Soon after their announcement, the post was flooded with congratulatory messages and best wishes from fans, friends and industry colleagues.

New B-town mommies like Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Hazel Keech and Kajal Aggarwal sent their best wishes to the new parents.

While the 'Aisha' star - who welcomed her baby boy on August 20 - was in awe of the baby girl's name, Keech welcomed the 43-year-old mother to the world of 'sleep-deprived moms'.

Aggarwal and her businessman-husband Gautam Kitchlu announced the arrival of their son Neil in April, and Keech welcomed her baby boy with former cricketer Yuvraj on June 19.

Other celebrities such as Malaika Arora, Dia Mirza, Kapil Sharma, Shilpa Shetty, Esha Deol and Shreya Ghosal, among others also congratulated the new mommy and daddy.

Basu met the 40-year-old actor during the shooting of their 2015 film 'Alone'. Reportedly, the couple kept hanging out together and eventually fell in love.

The couple tied the knot in 2016 at a traditional Bengali ceremony. In August, they shared the pregnancy news.
