Jaipur: The
BJP on Sunday announced to launch Jan Aakrosh Yatra through 200 chariots in all assembly segments.
Arun Singh, party in-charge in the state, said that the yatra will start from Jaipur on November 29. He was addressing party workers in Jhunjhunu.
“The rallies will highlight the appeasement policy of the Congress government, failure to waive farmers’ loans, crime against women, corruption,” said Singh.
Party’s state general secretary (organization) Chandrashekhar said, “The rath yatra from Jaipur will be flagged off on November 29. It will be followed at the district level on November 30 and at the assembly level from December 1.”
From December 1-10, special chaupals will be held at 9,889 panchayats.
The party will run a special social media campaign from November 25-30 releasing content against the Congress government. Many central leaders are also expected to visit the state during the period.
Chandrashekhar said, “Rahul Gandhi’s yatra is nothing but morning and evening walk, while BJP’s Jan Akrosh Yatra will take place in all 200 assembly constituencies and will reach out to 8 crore people.”
He said, “Congress ministers are themselves saying that the number of MLAs winning the polls will not be more than the number accommodated in the Fortuner SUV. It is, however, a fact also.” BJP claims to have completed the task of forming booth-level committees with their pictures at 48,000 booths against a total of 52,000.
