Rajasthan: Barmer youth’s body found in well, suicide suspected

JAISALMER: A 22-year-old man’s body was found in the well of the water works department at Paton Ka Vaada village in Samdadi police station area of Barmer district on Saturday.
Police said the deceased, Harish Suthar, a resident of Laila village, had given his purse and mobile phone to his father, Pola Ram, and gone out on Friday evening, saying he would return in a while. When he did not return for a long time, his family was worried, and his father started searching for him. Harish’s bike was seen near the waterworks department at Paton Ka Vaada village later in the evening.
The family informed police on Saturday, and the villagers posted information about his missing on social media.
When villagers spotted Harish’s shoes floating in the water of the well near the waterworks, they looked in and spotted his body.
