MEERUT: A 50-year-old sub-inspector posted in Aurangabad police station of Bulandshahr, Shailesh Kumar Yadav, died at a hospital in Delhi on Saturday.
He was a native of Tilakvar village in Firozabad. His family lives in Kankarkhera Meerut.
He fell ill three days ago and was admitted to a hospital in Meerut, from where doctors referred him to Delhi in view of his critical condition. He died there while undergoing treatment for dengue, said SHO, Aurangabad police station, Rajpal Singh.
Yadav is survived by his wife, two daughters and a son.
