RANCHI: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Friday filed chargesheets against two arrested and nine absconding accused persons in a case related to anti-national activities of CPI(Maoist) in a forest area of Rud panchayat under Garu police station limits of Latehar district.
The case pertains to the recovery of live ammunition from a Maoist camp at Rud village on September 1, 2017.
The accused are identified as Prabhu Sao, Balram Oraon, Chhotu Kherwar, Ravinder Ganjhu, Niraj Singh Kherwar, Mrityunjay Bhuiya, Pradeep Singh Kherwar, Muneswar Ganjhu, Kajesh Ganjhu, Aghnu Ganjhu and Lajim Ansari.
The NIA said probe has established that the accused persons, who are Maoist supporters and members, had conspired to commit terrorist acts and made preparations to wage war against the state.
