Gurugram: Five abduct & sodomise taxi driver, nabbed

GURURAM: Five taxi drivers were arrested on Saturday for allegedly kidnapping their 30-year-old fellow taxi driver, thrashing and sodomising him in Gurugram's Sector 29 on the night of November 4.
The accused have been identified as Ashok Kumar, Pradeep, Anoop, Ritesh and Lokesh. The complainant told police that he had gone with his friend in Sector 29 to have dinner when the five men intercepted him and dragged him into one of the cars. They took him to Manesar where they got him drunk and then Ashok sexually assaulted him. "Ashok also took the keys of my Swift Dzire, snatched Rs 7,500 and broke my mobile phone. Then Lokesh took me to AIIMS and left," he said in his complaint.
They were booked under IPC sections 395 (dacoity), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 365 (kidnapping or abducting with intent secretly and wrongfully to confine person), and 377 (voluntarily has carnal intercourse against the order of nature with any man, woman or animal, shall be punished).
Cops said Ashok had given Rs 2 lakh to the victim during his financial crisis. But the latter failed to return the amount and an enmity developed between the them. "We are still investigating the charges of sodomy," said police spokesperson Subash Boken.
