MP grain trader looted ₹28L in Jhalawar, no arrests so far
Kota: A 38-year-old grain trader from Agar district in Madhya Pradesh was robbed of Rs 28 lakh by three unidentified miscreants in Unchel police station area of Jhalawar district on Thursday while he was on his way back to home after collecting cash for sold crop in Choumehla grain mandi. The accused are yet to be nabbed, however police teams are trying to trace them.
Grain trader Manish Jain, a resident of Barod town in Agar district in Madhya Pradesh, lodged a report of loot against three unidentified miscreants following which the checkposts of the area were alerted and police teams were deployed to trace the accused, Unhel SHO Mohanlal Bairwa said.
The trader was returning home on a motorbike through rural routes after collecting Rs 28 lakh from two traders in Choumehla grain mandi for sold soya bean crop when three unidentified persons on an unnumbered bike stopped the trader, thrashed him and snatched the bag containing the cash, the SHO said. tnn
