Its main aim is to tell and advance science-based climate action fast across the global tourism system to support the goals of the Paris Climate Agreement.
From more than 30 countries, the TPCC brings together over 60 well-known experts and from academia, business, and civil society as well, under the leadership of Susanne Becken, Daniel Scott, and Professor Geoffrey Lipman. Today, the three executive board members presented the Foundation Framework for the new international TPCC in a board arranged by the Sustainable Tourism Global Center to make a new era easy of climate resilient tourism which is on track to attain by 2050, zero emissions and advances the Sustainable Development Goals.
STGC created the TPCC and is led by Saudi Arabia, the first multi-country of the world, multi-stakeholder global coalition to guide, speed up, and track the transition of the tourism to net-zero emissions, as well as drive action to defend nature and support communities.
