Varanasi: The Union Minister of Commerce & Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution and Textiles, Piyush Goyal, on Friday met the start-up youths at the Atal Incubation Centre, Banaras Hindu University under the Startup India Plan. He shared many success stories of startups and also asked about their start ups during his interaction with the youths. Speaking on the occasion, Goyal said that a few years ago, he met the youths and discussed the startup during a visit to Varanasi. “It gives me immense pleasure to see Varanasi start-up coming to fruition today,” he said, and informed that so far 236 startups have been registered from Varanasi and more than 7,000 startups from all over Uttar Pradesh, which is encouraging.
