Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Zomato Ltd.(number of shares traded: 17.28 crore), Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 3.64 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 3.46 crore), PNB(number of shares traded: 3.31 crore), Suzlon Energy(number of shares traded: 3.15 crore), FSN E-Comm(Nykaa)(number of shares traded: 2.57 crore), Tata Steel(number of shares traded: 1.97 crore), DCX .(number of shares traded: 1.94 crore), Union Bank India(number of shares traded: 1.78 crore) and Ashok Leyland(number of shares traded: 1.65 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:34AM in Friday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 261.8 points up at 18290.0, while BSE Sensex was up 907.75 points at 61521.45 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, .(up 4.40 per cent), .(up 4.25 per cent), .(up 3.83 per cent), .(up 3.79 per cent) and .(up 3.50 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While .(down 3.32 per cent), .(down 0.86 per cent), .(down 0.08 per cent), Mahindra & .(down 0.00 per cent) and NTPC Ltd.(down 0.06 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
