Varanasi: Mrityunjay Chaubey, research scholar at DST-CIMS, Institute of Science, BHU, has been selected under the External Research Experience scheme to conduct his research at Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited, Mumbai. At the NPCIL, he will be working under Lalit Kumar Singh, Scientist ‘F’, on ‘Video Monitoring of Nuclear Power Plant Control Room to Strengthen its Safety and Security’. The External Research Experience scheme launched by the
BHU under the Institution of Eminence initiative aims to provide professional as well as academic exposure to research scholars. They get an opportunity to spend one semester (six months) in a reputed institution in India. Under the scheme, the scholars also receive a monthly allowance in addition to their research fellowship.
Piyush Goyal to visit BHU: The Union minister of Commerce and Industry, Piyush Goyal along with the officials from Startup India Team will visit the Atal Incubation Centre, Banaras Hindu University on Friday. He will also interact with start-ups, entrepreneurs and ecosystem stakeholders during this visit.
