Hindustan Foods(up 8.85%), Future Consumer(up 3.03%), Vadilal Industries(up 2.91%), Tasty Bite Eatables(up 2.40%), Mrs Bectors Food Specialities(up 1.33%), Nestle India(up 1.07%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(up 0.95%), Heritage Foods(up 0.78%), Hindustan Unilever(up 0.67%) and Bajaj Consumer(up 0.56%) were among the top gainers.
Nakoda Group(down 4.96%), ADF Foods(down 0.91%), Prataap Snacks(down 0.84%), Dodla Dairy(down 0.77%), Zydus Wellness(down 0.57%), Parag Milk(down 0.51%), Varun Beverages(down 0.43%), P & G Hygiene(down 0.34%), Godrej Consumer Products(down 0.33%) and Marico(down 0.31%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 267.25 points up at 18295.45, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 928.66 points at 61542.36 at around 10:50AM.
Enterprises(up 5.19%), Infosys(up 4.19%), HCL Technologies(up 3.87%), Tata Consultancy(up 3.78%), Tech Mahindra(up 3.38%), Wipro(up 3.01%), Hindalco Industries(up 2.63%), SBI Life(up 2.33%), Tata Motors(up 2.06%) and Bajaj Finance(up 1.92%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Eicher Motors(down 3.75%) and Hero MotoCorp(down 0.72%) were trading in the red.
