Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 2.38% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 11:20AM(IST)on Friday in an upbeat market.

Godrej Properties(up 5.37 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(up 4.68 per cent), DLF(up 3.31 per cent), Oberoi Realty(up 2.74 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises(up 1.79 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Macrotech Developers(down 0.53 per cent) and Phoenix Mills(down 0.19 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

The Nifty Realty index was up 2.38 per cent at 451.4 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 283.6 points at 18311.8, while the BSE Sensex was up 996.13 points at 61609.83.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 43 were trading in the green, while 7 were in the red.

Shares of Zomato Ltd., , PNB, YES Bank and were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of DCX ., , , QMS Medical . and Varanium Cloud Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while , , Educomp Sols., and Renaissance Global hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
