
NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 1181.34 points up at 61795.04 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, TeleCanor Global(down 13.64 per cent), SPL Industries(down 12.75 per cent), GNFC(down 10.58 per cent), Campus Activewear Ltd.(down 10.30 per cent) and Ltd.(down 10.00 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 35 stocks closed in the green, while 15 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 321.5 points up at 18349.7.
On the BSE, Ltd., , Mafia Trends Ltd., and hit their fresh 52-week lows, while , , , Info-Infra(I)Ltd. and touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
