Tourist bus runs over man near Tanot area

Jaisalmer: A speeding bus carrying tourists from Gujarat hit a bike rider, who died on the spot, in Tanot area under Ramgarh police station in Jaisalmer district on Wednesday. The deceased, identified as Dan Singh, was standing on the side of the road near Tanot Chauraha and waiting for his friend, Bhupendra Singh, who was across the road to buy milk. Police on getting information took the person to the hospital where he was declared dead. The man was a para-teacher. A case has been registered in this regard. Ramgarh sub-inspector Achlaram Dhaka said that deceased Dan Singh was injured in the accident.
