HYDERABAD: Mystery shrouded the death of a couple on railway tracks in Bhuvanagiri on Wednesday. The couple were believed to have ended their lives by jumping in front of a train.
Police said Nalanda (23) and
Ganesh (25) were identified by their respective family members after railway officials informed them about the recovery of the two bodies in Bhuvanagiri. Nalanda married Yadagiri against her wishes as she was in love with Ganesh, police said.
Yadagiri returned home at Baswapur at 11 pm on Tuesday and found Nalanda missing. He lodged a missing complaint and Bhuvanagiri police soon alerted nearby police stations about the missing woman.
In the meantime, railway employees found the bodies of the couple on the tracks and immediately alerted police. A case was registered under section 174 (suspicious death) of CrPC. Yadagiri works in a sweet shop.
