ReutersNEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 419.85 points down at 60613.7 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, Everest Ind(down 15.20 per cent), (down 13.81 per cent), Team Lease Service(down 12.49 per cent), Sybly Ind(down 12.08 per cent) and Aurobindo Pharma(down 11.69 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.
In the Nifty pack, 11 stocks closed in the green, while 39 stocks ended in the red.
The index closed 128.8 points down at 18028.2.
On the BSE, , , , Renaissance Global and hit their fresh 52-week lows, while , , , and touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
