Mephedrone worth over ₹2L seized in Kutch

Rajkot: Kutch police seized 28 grams of mephedrone worth Rs 2.8 lakh from Madhapar Bhuj highway on Tuesday. According to the police, based on specific information, the special operations group frisked vehicles on the highway with sniffer dog and found the contraband hidden inside the gearbox of a car. Cops seized the drug and arrested Akram Sandhisama (25), Nadim Sama (24) and Savan Patel (29) all residents of Bhuj.
50 complain of smoke exposure
Rajkot: Around 50 people complained of a burning sensation in their eyes on Tuesday night after they took part in a Hawan programme in Harshad mil Chali area of Jamnagar. The people complain of uneasiness are they got exposed to heavy smoke in the religious event and had to be taken to the G G hospital where 10 people were kept under observation for about five hours, even as the remaining people were discharged within hours.
