Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.8% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 10:14AM(IST)on Wednesday in an upbeat market.

Brigade Enterprises(up 2.31 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate(up 2.01 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(up 1.85 per cent), Macrotech Developers(up 1.16 per cent) and Oberoi Realty(up 1.03 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Godrej Properties(down 0.35 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

The Nifty Realty index was up 0.8 per cent at 451.3 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 16.35 points at 18219.15, while the BSE Sensex was up 32.19 points at 61217.34.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 23 were trading in the green, while 27 were in the red.

Shares of , Zomato Ltd., PNB, and were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Khaitan(India), , Tapi Fruit Processing Ltd., and hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while , Ltd., , and Divis Labs hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
