73 new dengue cases in Patna

PATNA: Altogether 139 new dengue cases and one official death were reported in the state on Tuesday. The deceased was a 54-year-old from Charpokhari block in Bhojpur district. He died at PMCH on Monday but his death was officially reported on Tuesday.
As per the health department, 73 new cases were from Patna, followed by 37 in Munger, nine in Bhagalpur, four in Madhubani and 3 each in Muzaffarpur, Vaishali, Banka and Kishanganj. Also, 40 new dengue patients were admitted to different health facilities on Tuesday. The death toll due to dengue this year has reached 14. Eight of the deceased were from Patna, followed by two from Nalanda and one each from Buxar, Bhojpur, Jamui and Munger.
