Tamil Nadu: Monitor camps to add, delete voters, says Edappadi K Palaniswami

SALEM: AIADMK interim general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami on Tuesday urged the party cadres to be vigilant and cautious during the special camps for revisions in voters’ list that would be held on November 12, 13, 26 and 27.
Addressing the cadres at the party sub-urban office at Omalur, he said, “All the AIADMK cadres, especially booth agents, should be present at the camps to add and delete voters and monitor the entire process as directed by the Election Commission of India.”
He also advised the cadres to check all the documents while enrolling new voters. “People hate the DMK government. This is the right time for us to sweep all the 40 seats in the upcoming parliamentary election. The party cadres should take the achievements of the AIADMK to every corner of the state.” Former minister S Semmalai and MLAs participated in the meeting.
