BENGALURU: CCB sleuths arrested a 24-year-old rowdy and his brother-in-law for allegedly trying to sell a countrymade pistol illegally.
Police recovered the pistol and four live rounds from Mohammed Arafath, a resident of Hennur, and Mohammed Sadath Maaz, 32, of Dinnur in RT Nagar. Police said they received information that two persons were waiting at RT Nagar on Monday to sell illegal weapons to miscreants.
Preliminary probe revealed Arafath had sourced the pistol and live rounds from a person in Mumbai and was selling it to a rowdy for a higher price. A case has been registered against the duo. tnn
