Right-wing group demands to cancel Vir Das show in Bengaluru

Right-wing activists submitted a memorandum to Bengaluru police seeking cancellation of the show by popular comedian Vir Das at Chowdaiah Memorial Hall in Malleswaram on November 10, alleging that he had defamed India and women in his previous programmes. The representation was given to Vyalikaval police. “We’ve received the memorandum and will act on it after discussions with senior officials,” an officer said. No complaint has been registered yet.

5-yr-old boy dies after quack administers injection in TN

A five-year-old boy who was administered an injection for fever by a woman quack in Rajapalayam on November 4 died two days later on Sunday after he experienced pain and swelling on his legs. After warmest Nov day since 2008, mercury likely to dip in Delhi
