12 new Covid cases in city; +vity rate 0.5%

Gurgaon: The city reported 12 new Covid cases on Monday, while the positivity rate was recorded at 0.5%.
Gurgaon currently has 77 active cases, of which five patients are hospitalised. The health department collected 1,399 samples on Monday. A total of 613 cases were recorded in the month of October while September and August saw 1,386 and 10,414 cases, respectively.
Meanwhile, Haryana logged 23 new Covid cases on Monday and witnessed a positivity rate of 1%. At present, there are 126 active cases in the state.
The health authorities collected 4,003 samples for testing while 20 patients recovered from the infection on Monday.
Till now, 10,56,326 people have tested positive in Haryana since the beginning of the pandemic while a total of 10,712 Covid deaths have been reported till now.
Total 792 people got vaccinated in the state on Monday.
At present the state has a recovery rate of 98.9%.
