Microsoft Releases Windows 10 KB5019959, KB5019966 Updates

Microsoft just released the cumulative updates for Windows 10 KB5019959 and KB5019966. The versions included are 22H2, 21H2, 21H1, and 1808. The updates will fix performance issues and resolve 20 bugs in the operating system. However, the update is not available for Windows 10 1909 or 2004, according to Bleeping Computer.

The update will automatically be installed by the Windows Update during a user's servicing window, as it is mandatory. Users can still update it manually via Settings, by clicking on Windows Update and then Check for Updates.

Other Improvements

For versions 21H1 and 21H2, here are the following improvements according to Microsoft:

What to Know Before Installing the Update

If you plan on offline OS image servicing, make sure that you install the special standalone May 10, 2022 SSU or KB5014032 first. This goes for users who do not have the March 22, 2022 KB5011543 or later LCU.

As for WSUS deployment installing the standalone package from the Microsoft Update Catalog, install the standalone August 10, 2021 SSU or KB5005260. This is only if you do not have the May 11, 2021 KB5003173 or late LCU.
