Three police jurisdictions in Pune district will get new deputy commissioners of police. ( File Representational Photo)WITH THE state Home department ordering a reshuffle of 104 senior officers late on Monday, all three police jurisdictions of Pune district — Pune City, Pimpri Chinchwad and Pune Rural — are set to get new officers in the ranks of Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCPs) and equivalent.
DCP Zone 1 in Pune City, Priyanka Narnavre, has been transferred as Commandant, State Reserve Police Force (SRPF), Nagpur. Pune City DCP Cyber and Economic Offences Wing, Bhagyashree Navatake — who led several high profile investigations of recruitment scams and cyber frauds in the recent past — has been transferred as Commandant, SRPF Chandrapur.
Pune City DCP Zone 3 Pournima Gaikwad has been transferred as Commandant, SRPF, Hingoli. DCP Zone 5 Namrata Patil has been transferred as DCP, Economic Offences Wing, at Mumbai. DCP Traffic of Pune City, Rahul Shrirame has been transferred as Superintendent with Maharashtra State Security Corporation. Pune City DCP Zone 2 Sagar Patil has been transferred as DCP, Amravati City.
Sandeep Singh Gill, Shashikant Borate, Smartana Patil, Vijaykumar Magar, Vikrant Deshmukh, Suhail Sharma, and Amol Zende will be the new DCPs to Pune City. Their specific postings within Pune City police are yet to be decided.
DCP Anand Bhoite with Pimpri Chinchwad police has been transferred as Additional SP, Baramati, in Pune Rural Police. DCP, Headquarters, with Pune City Police, Vivek Patil has been transferred as DCP, Pimpri Chinchwad police. Principal, Police Training School, Solapur, Swapna Gore has been transferred as DCP, Pimpri Chinchwad. DCP Zone 1 with Pimpri Chinchwad police, Manchak Ippar has been transferred to Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Nashik.
Rajlaxmi Shivankar has been posted as the Superintendent of the Government Railway Police (Pune Division) replacing Sadanand Wayse Patil who has been transferred to State Intelligence Department, Mumbai. DCP Zone 1 Amol Tambe with Nashik City Police will take charge as the Superintendent of Police with Anti Corruption Bureau, Pune Unit, replacing Rajesh Bansode, who has been transferred as Superintendent State Wireless Communication, Pune.
