Complete all patch work by Nov 15: Secy

Jaipur: PWD (public works department) principal secretary Vaibhav Galriya, during his first review meeting of the department, gave directions to the officials to complete all ‘patch work’ in the state by November 15. Kota, Udaipur, Pratapgarh, Sirohi and Jodhpur were among the worst performing districts in patch work.
The principal secretary said the superintendent engineers and additional chief engineers of districts where progress of work under ‘patch repair campaign’ was poor - like Kota, Udaipur, Pratapgarh, Sirohi and Jodhpur - were directed to speed up.
“While setting the target of repairing the patches daily, an action plan was set to complete all the patch works within a stipulated time period,” he said. He said the districts where approvals received from SDRF were delayed, the patch work of these districts should be completed by November 25.
Galriya also directed to prepare the schedule of repair works in all medical colleges and their respective hospitals and district hospitals at the earliest.
