Team of media professional praises rapid tourism revival

A team of media professional from Nepal and India showed high amount of gratitude to Dinesh Gunawardena, the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka, for the methods adopted by the government to experience financial disputes and make sure a quick revival in a short span of time.


The team of media personnel said this when they met the Prime Minister at the Office of the Prime Minister in Colombo yesterday. The Prime Minister expressed his thanks to India for extending material and financial restructuring facilities to the island nation urgently to get over the crisis and shortages of essential items.


The representatives of India and Nepali media said that they were cautioned by several well-wishers back home to not to visit Sri Lanka when the country went through severe hardships, however they were pleasingly amazed to see that country is absolutely normal and trouble-free for them to travel to any part. They explained that their first responsibility would be to eradicate misinformation about the island nation via media and suggest Indians to make Sri Lanka their next destination of travel.


Anbuj Maheshwari of Hindi newspaper Subhasavery in Madhya Pradesh said that Sri Lanka is a gorgeous tourist attraction. Ambuj also said that more and more Indians should visit this country. Several years ago, he had a media interview with PM Dinesh Gunawardena in Sanchi and he remembered when he visited India as a Minister.
