Varanasi: Dreaded criminal injured, held after police encounter

VARANASI: In a joint action of special weapons and tactics team (SWAT), Dullahpur and Birno police stations cops a dreaded looter Arvind Kumar Yadav was caught after suffering bullet injuries in exchange of fire with them near Senoband area on Saturday midnight.
Police also foiled his of his accomplice Prince Kumar Bhardwaj to escape from the spot. Apart from two country made revolvers, live cartridges and a motorcycle police also recovered cash worth Rs 1.05 lakh from them.
SP Ghazipur Rohan P Botre said that 10 cases including of loot and arms act were lodged against Yadav.
