'Hindi films are getting their a**es kicked right now': Varun Dhawan on South films performing better than Bollywood movies

Varun Dhawan, who is currently busy promoting his upcoming film 'Bhediya', recently opened up about South films doing better business than Bollywood flicks at the box office. While admitting that films from the southern industry are gradually overtaking Bollywood movies, the actor shared that these days audiences won't accept any mediocre content, and, so Hindi movies should take inspiration from pan-India blockbusters like 'Kantara', 'KGF: Chapter 2' and others. During a conversation at an event, Varun said, 'The Hindi films are getting kicked right now. The audience is not settling for anything mediocre. So, we must pull up our socks and give them top-of-the-line stuff.'
