Realtor who jumped bail for 2 years arrested in Mumbai

Mysuru: The City police recently arrested Srihari Patak, proprietor of Patak Developers and who had been jumping bail for the last two years, from Mumbai.
He has been remanded in judicial custody by a court. City police commissioner Chandragupta has appreciated the City Crime Branch police team and the members of a special team from Narasimharaja sub-division formed to catch him.
Srihari Patak was arrested at Andheri in Mumbai on November 3.
About 17 warrants were pending against Patak in cheating cases. He is charged with cheating buyers of apartments after collecting advance money from them.
Patak is facing various cases in different police stations, and some in consumer courts too. After obtaining bail from a court, Patak absconded and did not attend court hearings for the last two years, according to a press release.
