Tamil Nadu: Two women rescued from flesh trade, 2 held

TRICHY: Police rescued two women from flesh trade and arrested a man and a woman in this connection in Kattur on Thursday evening.
Based on a tip-off, the Thiruverumbur police searched a house on 9th cross street, Win Nagar, and found two women forced into prostitution. Police arrested C Kalyani, 50, and T Saravanan, 48, of Ganeshapuram in Thiruverumbur for running flesh trade in the house after taking it on rent for the past three months. They were booked under sections of Immoral Traffic Prevention Act. They were produced in court and remanded in judicial custody. The two women were rescued and sent to protective home.
