Why CM ignoring demand for including Khan ki Jhopdiya village in Kota dist: Bharat Singh
Kota: Congress MLA from Sangod and senior party leader Bharat Singh shot a taunting letter to chief minister Ashok Gehlot for his claim that his MLAs would get tired of demanding, but he would not be tired of sanctioning and pitched his demand of incorporating Khan Ki Jhopadiya village, currently in Baran, in Kota district.
Singh questioned the CM if it was true, why he was not fulfilling his demand of incorporating Khan ki Jhopdiya village in Kota district?
“The issue that is comprehensive even to a mentally retarded man, why do revenue minister, principal secretary and chief minister fail to understand the same?” Singh bluntly asked.
“You have knocked down Bharat Singh in front of the ‘illusion of Bhaya’ (Bhaya Ki Maya) (mining and gopalan minister Pramod Jain Bhaya). It is rightly said ‘As is the food, so is the thought’ – (‘jaisa khaoge ann, vaisa banega mann’,” reads Singh’s letter.
Notably, earlier Baran was a subdivision in Kota district. At the time of formation of Baran district, Kalisindh river was set to be demarking line.
Villages across other side were demarked in Baran district and villages on this sides stayed in Kota district. Singh claimed that Khan Ki Jhopdiya, a small pocket on this side of Kalisindh river in Palayatha panchayat of Kota district, was wrongly demarked in Baran district and alleged illegal mining activities under guardianship of state mining minister Pramod Bhaya were rampant in the village.
