Chess championship from Nov 10

Kanpur: The third late RC Saxena memorial inter-school chess championship will be organized by Nurture International School from November 10 to November 12 at the school premises.
According to secretary of the school Sachin Chitranshi, the chess players of CBSE and ICSE schools will participate in the event to be held in two categories. In the first category, boys and girls from class VI to VIII will take part and students from class IX to XII in the second category.
Only four players from each school can participate in each group.
The top three players of each group would be felicitated with trophy, medal and certificate. Thus all 12 players would be honoured. Director of the school Ritu Chitranshi said that the event would be conducted by the District Chess Association as per the rules of the Chess Federation.
