NEW DELHI: Quite a few stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red on Friday amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.
Stocks that rallied over 10% included, Genus Prim Infr(14.07%), Siyaram Silk(13.9%), Indsil Hydro(12.07%), Rainbow Childrens .(11.88%), Gandhi Special(11.41%), Sri Nachammai(11.11%), RRIL(10.86%), AmaraRaja Batteries(10.62%) and Daulat Sec(10.58%).
The 30-share Sensex traded 129.26 points down at 60707.15, while the 50-share Nifty index fell 25.8 points to 18026.9.
In the Nifty 50 index, 21 stocks traded in the green, while 29 stocks were in the red.
Stocks such as Ltd., Rainbow Childrens Medicare Ltd., Gandhi Special, and Olatech . hit their fresh 52-week high, while Pace E-Commerce ., , , and S M Gold touched their new 52-week low in trade.
