Capfun announce their expansion into the UK holiday market by purchasing Lakeshore Leisure Group (LLG) via its subsidiary Capfun UK Ltd from Kings Park Capital and management. Capfun has grown at an ever-increasing pace from purchasing its first park in France in 2001 to now operating 152 parks in France, 14 in Netherlands, 6 in Spain, 2 in Belgium and 1 in Italy.
Nicolas Houe CEO Capfun commented “We have studied the UK market for quite a while with a view to enter, we felt that LLG was a perfect fit and will kick start our growth in the UK with a unique offering designed for the UK consumer, where we feel that there is a significant opportunity to become one of the first pan European park operators, with these three parks adding to the 175 parks we already operate.
