NEW DELHI: Delhi Nurses Federation has decided that all nurses from Delhi government hospitals will go on mass casual leave on November 16 and on an indefinite strike from November 30.
The decision was taken on Friday, after three days of their symbolic strike failed to strike a deal with the Delhi government.
According to secretary general of DNF Liladhar Ramchandani, due to the sudden spike in cases of
dengue throughout Delhi, they have postponed their protest for the next three weeks, as they don’t want patients to suffer in this situation.
“Nurses from all Delhi government hospitals participated in the three-day strike to attract the attention of government towards their demand of post creation and promotion but unfortunately the government has not paid any heed to it”, said office bearer of DNF adding they would now forced to harden their stand.
